Conformity
1. Conformity means to meet or comply with the requirements.
Notes (1): There are many types of requirements. There are quality, customer, product, management, legal. Requirements can be explicitly specified (like the Singapore Standards :SS540, BS 25999 or Australian and New Zealand Business Continuity Management standard : AS/NZS 5050:2009 (Under Development) requirements) or implied. Notes (2): A specified requirement is one that has been stated in a standard. When an organization meets a requirement, it is said that it conforms to that requirement.
