1. Hacktivist attack is a cyber security attack launched on an organisation by hacktivists.

2. Hacktivist (activist using hacking) attacks involve threat actors motivated by ideology in an effort to maximize disruption and embarrassment to their specifically targeted victims, For this reason, we consider hacktivist attack as a lethal data breach scenario.
