1. Local Area Network or LAN is a computer network, dedicated to sharing data among several single a small-user workstations or personal computers, within a geographical area or within a common environment.

Notes (1): Specific consideration when developing Disaster Recovery strategy is to have up-to-date documentation on

  • Network diagrams
  • Detailed configurations information for networked devices such as routers, switches, bridges
  • Vendor information for prompt supply of services and equipments during disaster
