Irene is the Group General Manager for Enterprise Risk Management, WBL Corporation Limited. She is responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide risk management strategy.

Voluntary Appointment within BCM Institute
Irene sits on the Certification Review Committee and she is also an Executive Trainer for the BCM Institute.
Past Employment
Prior to joining Wearnes, she was Director of Risk Management Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Co. She was responsible for driving and deploying Business Continuity Management within the organization. As the company's overall Business Continuity Planner, she works across the various departmental units to coordinate risk assessments and impact analysis. She is also responsible for the testing and exercising of business continuity plans. SSMC was the 1st company in Singapore to be certified to SPRING BCM Standards in Dec 2004. She is also the Company’s Export Control Officer, ensuring that proper export control procedures are complied with.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University
- Master of Science in Chemistry from National University of Singapore.
