1. A Crisis Scenario describes a situation that might disrupt the business.

Notes (2): It is useful to align crisis scenario in crisis management and/or communication to the term "threats" when it is discussed in the business continuity context.
Notes (3): It is a set of informed assumptions about a situation that may require human intervention and action to resolve the situation.
